A SNOWY TATRAS AS I ENJOYED THEM STANDING AT THE LOMNICKY PEAK!
Above the clouds view of snow covered hills in Slovak High Tatras during the winter. The main peak on the most left side of this photo is called Kolovy peak, or Kolovy stit in Slovak language. It has an altitude of 2418 meters / 7933 feet above the sea-level.
As I already mentioned in the title of this post, I have taken this photo standing at the Lomnicky peak. This peak is a very attractive travel destination for visitors from all around the world, especially during the winter time. It is quite popular due to its easy accessibility by several cable railways leading from its top as far as to the Lomnicke saddle and further down to the Tatranska Lomnica town, and vice versa.
The High Tatra mountins are actually the highest mountain range in the whole Carpathian Mountains, so tourists have a lot of natural attractions and landscapes to explore. Because of that, these mountains are visited by hundreds of thousands visitors each year, during all seasons. The High Tatra mountins belong to the Tatras national park, TANAP.
If you happen to visit Slovakia during the wintertime don’t miss sightseeings from the Lomnicky peak and other hills located in the High Tatras mountain chain, Slovakia.
I am an enthusiast photographer walking my own path in stock photography genre. Taking photos of landscapes, natural sceneries and animals is what I prefer to do at my spare time. Architecture and cultural heritage pictures such as pictures of castles, historical towns or outdoor museums are my passion too. Although I still feel as an hobbyist photographer, I successfully sell my photos trough world's leading stock photography agencies for years anyway. The commercial success of my photography works was, and still is, really an interesting experience for me since the beginning.

Ten pohled je krásnej,hory majestátní...promiň,že odbočuju,ale líbí se mi ta nová fotka,kterou máš na "profilu"....něco mezi strašidelným a magickým,podařilo se ti krásně vystihnout tu atmosféru/osvětlení,nebe a měsíc/-SUPER!

Ďakujem +Dagmar Flajsman. Je to Oravský hrad. Moc často sa k nočnému foteniu hradov nedostanem, rozhodne nie tak často ako by som chcel, takže o to väčšiu mám radosť, že sa ti ten môj nočný záber na Oravský hrad páči. :)

Ďakujem +Vladimír Vocelka! Áno, z Lomnického štítu je pekný výhľad, teda keď práve nie je hmla. V deň, keď som tento záber odfotografoval sa najskôr zdalo, že kvôli hmle nebude vidieť ani na krok, ale nakoniec sa počasie umúdrilo a postupne sa z hmly vynorila táto panoráma. :)
