YESTERDAY, MY WATERFALL POST REACHED 1000 GOOGLE +1ES OVERNIGHT!

Due to the large success when my post from yesterday's evening, showing this waterfall frozen with ice and snow reached more than 1000 Google +1es at my Google+ social account overnight, I decided to share with you also the summertime view of the same scenery; to see whether you will like also this one.

So, I really hope you will enjoy it too! As I already said yesterday it is a photo of waterfall in the Lucky village, just the same as from yesterday's post, but this time in the summer instead of the winter. It is located in Ruzomberok district, Liptov region, northern Slovakia.

I have taken this photo in the summer of 2009, about half an hour after a really heavy rain when everything was still fresh and colorful, because of wet rain drops all around on the surrounding trees and grass. The water level was also unusually high with color resembling perhaps some exotic tropical forest and not a landlocked Central European countryside in the mountainous region of Liptov.

In case you haven't read my previous post, you should know that this waterfall is believed to feature a healing water. Yes, that's right! Location of the Lucky is a wide known for its spa houses and resorts founded back in the 18th century. Actually, most water springs from the Lucky village are believed to have positive effects on various diseases, especially on treatment of female problems and because of that many women visit the Lucky spa houses during all seasons!

Anyway, the last time when I posted autumnal photos of this waterfall on my social accounts, some questions in comments and private messages arose, whether Lucky's village mineral-rich water is * really * healing?!

Well, I am not 100% sure whether these springs are * really * healing, but the village of Lucky is wide famous for its spa houses where women from all around of Slovakia as well as from nearby countries, and perhaps even from distant countries, go for various healing therapies, aimed on treatment of all sorts of female problems, including lack of ability to have a child. As far as I know, combination of these therapies, with so believed, healing water from the springs of Lucky village really helps with these problems somehow. Anyway, these spa houses and healing facilities are successfully operational since 18th century, and since then, there are a lot of examples of couples who finally managed to conceive a child after recreational visits of these spa houses. So, I guess there must be something about it. ;)
